If you hang around long enough on a certain cable channel you will eventually witness what is in effect a parade of disturbing talents. You will wince as grown men who should know better drive metal spikes through their faces, allow breeze blocks to be broken over their heads, and pull lorries with a rope attached to God-knows-what. Present one of these guys with an unopened beer bottle and chances are he will pop it in his mouth and crack it open with his teeth.
